Toffee & Vanilla Coffee Syrup

I’m not really sure if this one even needs a description!  Just make it!  I got the bottles at Target for around $3 each.

Adapted from: Annie’s Eats

Vanilla Syrup Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 vanilla bean, spilt lengthwise
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Toffee Syrup Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup toffee candy bits
  • 1 pinch salt

  1. Combine ingredients into a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally (For the vanilla syrup, scrape the seeds out of the vanilla bean and place both the seeds and pod into the pan).
  2. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low.  Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature.
  4. Strain the mixture and pour into a bottle.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

P.S. – Print off the template/instructions for the labels shown in the photo!
