2DIY Slouchy Beanie
Here’s a little information on how I made this crochet slouchy beanie! I posted a photo of the finished product to Facebook, and it got lots of feedback so I decided I’d share the instructions that I used. I had watched many other videos on YouTube, and lots of them were confusing and not necessarily meant for beginners. This tutorial by Simply Hooked Crochet is much easier to follow.
There are a few things that I did differently than the video suggests.
- I used about 160 yards of Wool-Ease Thick and Quick by Lion Brand Yarns, color Charcoal.
- 9 mm Crochet Hook
- I only made 10 rows of puff stitches, and no pom-pom for the top.
The most important advice I can give is to stay patient and take your time. Since I am a beginner, this project took me about 8 hours. It gets frustrating at times, but I’m so happy with how it turned out.
