Tropical Green Smoothie

I’ve been trying out a few different green smoothie recipes this week, and this one definitely hits the spot!  I love mangoes and peaches, and I decided to make it a little bit “tropical” style by adding banana and pineapple.  If you have any coconut water or milk, that would be a great addition, too! I actually had never had a green smoothie before this week, and I’m not really sure why I waited so long because they are awesome.  In fact, my week of green smoothie experimenting is actually kind of tempting me to turn every smoothie into a green smoothie!

Makes 3-4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mango cubes
  • 1 cup frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth.
  2. Divide evenly into glasses.

This one was my favorite we tried as well. Not only did have all the green smoothies this week tasted great, they probably helped me recover from my cold faster. I recommend!
