Here’s a little bit of what 2 Bee Press owner, Sarah, had to say about her experience with travel and with art: “I have always enjoyed art. As a child I used to collect crayons and markers and craft paper and create flowers and dinosaurs and whatever struck my fancy that day. As a teen I enjoyed advertising and fashion design and I collected shopping bags and cut out slick ads in magazines. In college, I studied Archaeology and I found myself drawn to the petro glyphs and geometric patterns on pottery shards. I was fortunate enough to live in Japan for a few years after college and while there discovered an appreciation for Japanese aesthetics, especially traditional designs on paper and kimono. Now, I am teaching myself block printing techniques and running my studio, 2 Bee Press.”
