0Nice, France
I spent most of my time during my French Riviera trip in Nice, France. I absolutely loved it there. I started off my trip with a tour of the city, which isn’t my favorite thing to do. I’d rather be out walking on the streets.
Once we got off the bus and started to explore the city on our own, I was much happier. All of the architecture was so ornate, which was very different from Italy. There was a little flower market that I looked around for a while. There were some cute cacti with flowers blooming on them. My friend Kendahl said they have those at home, but the flowers are glued on. We picked one up and sure enough, hot glue!
I spent a majority of my time walking around, window shopping, and looking at bakeries. The bakeries were unreal – and being a Bakery Science major with a huge sweet tooth – it was heaven! My favorite was a shop called La Maison Auer. I can only imagine what Paris is like. If anyone is wondering how to earn my heart, just buy me chocolate. :)
After spending the day wandering around, we ate dinner and decided to explore the city at night. Of course, because we hadn’t had enough dessert yet, we got some crepes.
In the morning, we left Nice and headed to Cannes to spend the day.
