Spiced Cranberry Apple Cider

This is a recipe that I got from my mom, and I adapted it a little bit to make it easier for me to make at school.  I made it in a crockpot, but you can use the stovetop if you would rather.  I love this recipe, and it makes your whole house (or in my case…room) smell great! :)

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 3/4 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a crockpot.
  2. Set to high for 2 hours.
  3. Discard the cinnamon sticks and orange slices.
  4. Enjoy!

If you would rather make this on your stovetop, place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer for 2 hours.
